Yes, at the time of making the video the ship you see was listed as a Perry class. But it was still an early work in progress project by the Modder. I do wish I'd worded it differently, saying instead that it was a place holder for a perry class or something like that.

The surface ships on this particular mod are only available on 3 of the single missions. I'd strongly advice using the epic mod, it had far more features including surface ship campaign

As much as I agree that governments and politicians will do pretty much anything for their own gain, I can't say that i agree with you that thatchers mob fabricated the war themselves. I do believe there was a great deal that could've done before hand to prevent it. But I won't deny that it certainly elevated their standing (despite several things some quite treasonous at ministerial level that hampered the task force if anything), and I believe the conflict certainly saved the royal navy from destruction at the hands of their own political masters.

@@BaronQuertier I agree that they didnt do it themselves.. "alone". Other than that It is not about having a different opiniom than mine..its about facts. Just read about Clive Ponting, Tam Dalyell back in 1982-1983-1984. HMS Conqueror log room getting lost for that period, read about Narendra Sethia. It is all there. .

@@nunopereira265 do you mean the real life design, or the model used in this mod. I not sure if the mod is 100% accurate. It's seems very close. But either way, I do agree, the Oberon class is certainly of that old design that was refined in ww2 in my opinion. The class itself was designed in the 50s and were long range and quite advanced for their time

The Epic mod. Allows better use of surface ships systems. I will endettp have a gander.

Yeah this is quite dated now good sir. I strongly recommend the Epic Mod instead, surface ships are playable in that and they have working guns etc.

This was recorded with the new playable subs and more mod, but recently i installed the epic mod and for now at least it is that mod which i recommend

I hope it's useful too. Some of the points are just trial and error bits, some are things I've been told by other players and some of the tactics are things I've read regarding real life submarine warfare etc

To be honest that is how I do it too. It's not ideal, might also get a bit of a feel for what ships are better suited at hunting you down etc. I also asked alot of questions about the capabilities of different ships on the cold waters discord

I absolutely agree. I wish I had worded it all better in the video and said it is a 'representation' of a Collins class. I've read some great stuff about the Collins class and antics they've gotten up to when training with Americans and others.

Excellent commentary, and videography, only down side was your last video was a year old, should had kept with it, as your streams are much better then popular channels like Sub brief and Flambass.. Much appreciated work,.well done.

Well the Argentines gambled in my humble opinion. Thought that we wouldn't go through the effort to launch a military campaign so far from home. To be fair to the Argentines though regarding the sinking of the Belgrano they acknowledge that it was a legitimate military target, despite our own people still arguing over whether it should've happened.

The series had to be put on hold due to a computer problem and I had to start all over again. That had problems of its own with consistency. But I think I've finally cracked it and I just about finished editing the next part.

It is a really good game and sorry that you suffer from that phobia. I myself love the sea and going swimming in the ocean. I'm a big fan of all things nautical.
